Tonight, Iota Lambda will host our elections for our 2023 Executive Board, who will be sworn in in the coming weeks. Before our 2023 exec is selected, I'd like to finish recognizing our executive board with our 2022 Chapter President, Allyson Joyce. Allyson is a senior Social Work and Communications major from Houston, Texas. She previously served as the Vice President of Philanthropy in 2021. Her passion for Alpha Chi Omega is so contagious, and her dedication to our chapter is admirable.
She is most proud of the way that our 2022 executive board has run so smoothly, and elevated our standards, academics, and recruitment caliber. Allyson says, "I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work with this phenomenal board. They are some of the most outstanding and hard working women. I will miss them so much!"
Her biggest tip to the next president is to focus on building relationships, because that's what it's all about. Having Allyson as a friendly face this year who everyone knows has brought so much joy to our chapter.
From being on the executive board, Allyson has gained so many leadership skills and friendships. We are so lucky to have had her as our chapter president this year!
