2022 Real Chic Women Fashion Show

Updated: Jun 1, 2022

On February 6, 2022, our Iota Lambda chapter of Alpha Chi Omega hosted our 30th annual Real Chic Women fashion show. After months of preparation, this past Sunday's fashion show was a great success, and Iota Lambda raised over $140,000 for the Women's Center of Tarrant County. VP of Philanthropy and Committee Chair Lane Rippey, President and Fashion Show Chair Allyson Joyce, our other committee chairs, Corinne Marascio, Gabby Zimmer, Sydney Minear, and Abi Plylar, and all of our Fashion Show Angles are to thank for this successful show.

The fashion show had models from multiple other chapters across TCU's campus, and even included Mom and Daughter models from Alpha Chi Omega. Our beautiful campus models showed off pieces from boutiques in the area, including Apricot Lane, Evereve, Impeccable Pig, Three, and more! In addition to the fashion show, we also hosted a Silent Auction, which included over 40 baskets, all made by our sisters.

This fashion show happened over our 2022 Mom's Weekend, which was a great hit, thanks to our VP of Membership Programming, Kylee Rogers. Despite last week's ice storm, so many of our moms were able to come to campus for the weekend. Many sisters and their moms went to Painting with a Twist on Friday night, and others took their moms to nail appointments booked by Alpha Chi on Saturday morning. Also on Saturday, our chapter had profit shares at Kendra Scott and American Threads in University Park Village. Saturday evening ended with a mother daughter dinner at DeLucca,

Coming off of a successful Mom's Weekend and Real Chic Women fashion show, our chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is preparing for a fun semester ahead, including social events, sisterhood bonding, and much more! We cannot wait to see what the rest of the semester has in store for us, and look forward to continuing to support the Women's Center of Tarrant County in every way we can in the future.
